Richmond Hill research facility is comprised of a rare co-location of an Anechoic Chamber (20Mhz - 18 Ghz) and a Reverberation Chamber (80 Mhz - 18 Ghz), enviable Chemical Assessment Laboratory, and a 5,000 square foot clean room.

More than 60 faculty members with teaming efforts from academia and industrial partners, focus on the creation of new science and technology. Sensor technology includes:

  • Chemical sensors

  • Smart textile & clothing
  • Mobile robots for multi-vehicle control platforms
  • Sensor-based modeling for improved manufacturing
  • Biosensors
  • Sensors for prevision farming
  • Neutron & Radiation Dosimetry applications
  • Retinal imaging for non-invasive disease study
  • Intengrated target detection, tracking classification
  • Learning dual-band infrared imagery
